MAZ Hair Extensions

New clients & consultations

Your extension journey starts with your natural hair.

Every new client begins with a short online assessment. It gives me the information and photographs I need to understand your starting point before we arrange a consultation.

The online assessment

Show me the hair you actually live with.

If your hair is wavy or curly, please send photographs of it air-dried in natural daylight, with your hair down and no filters.

A blow-dried photograph shows me your colour and length, but it hides the texture, which is the thing I am matching.

Two clients who both want 20-inch extensions can need completely different amounts of hair, textures, preparation and fitting work.

This is not about hiding prices. It is about giving you an estimate that actually relates to you.

After your enquiry

What happens next.

This process lets you understand the likely investment before travelling to the studio and paying for a consultation.

  1. Send your enquiry

Complete the short form and include clear photographs of your hair.

  2. I review your hair

I look at your current length, density, texture, colour and condition, together with the result you would like to achieve.

  3. Receive an estimated cost

I reply personally with a realistic approximate price or range based on the information you have sent.

  4. Consultation

Once you confirm that you would like to continue, I send available consultation dates by email. When we agree a date, I open that specific slot in Ovatu and send you its booking link.

  5. Your bespoke plan

At the consultation I assess your hair and scalp properly, compare colours and textures, plan the fitting, and explain maintenance and aftercare.

In the studio

A consultation is approximately 40 minutes.

Your photographs give me enough information to begin, but the work itself is physical. I want to touch your hair, feel its density, see your scalp and feel the difference between finer and stronger areas.

I keep over 10kg of loose extension hair in the studio. Instead of holding a small colour ring against your head, you can touch the hair, brush it, feel the strand thickness, compare textures and hold different lengths against you.

Sometimes I find the match quickly. Sometimes I mix several colours or textures. Sometimes nothing in the room is right and I source specifically for you.

Unusual textures can take 1–3 months to source. I would rather wait than compromise.
